Biology

Tyranitar resembles a tyrannosaurus, iguanodon, stegosaurus, and Godzilla. A Paradox Pokémon named Iron Thorns resembles Tyranitar.

Design & origin

Tyranitar's name comes from "tyrannosaurus" and "tardus", meaning slow.

Forms

Mega Tyranitar

When Tyranitar Mega Evolves, its back splits open, and with its vicious attitude fueling it, it might not be able to hear and execute its trainer's commands.
