Biology
Unlike Rhyhorn, Rhydon is bipedal. Protected by an armor-like hide, it can survive in lava over 3,600 °F (1,980 °C) and take direct hits from cannonballs. By rapidly rotating its drill-like horn, it can punch holes through boulders and diamonds, while one sweep of its tail can topple a building. Its brain developed when it began walking on its hind legs.
Design & origin
Rhydon was the first Pokémon created by Game Freak.
