Biology

Dracovish is a Fossil Pokémon that can be made out of the Fossilized Fish and Fossilized Drake. Its powerful jaws and legs made it the most fearless predator of its time, but its own doing made it extinct by over hunting its underwater prey. Dracovish are fast runners, able to run up to 40 mph, and brutally efficient at capturing prey, but cannot breathe unless underwater.

Design & origin

Dracovish is one of four Fossil Pokémon composed of pairs of parts haphazardly put together, appearing to be inspired by the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs as well as similarly inaccurate reconstructions of dinosaurs. Other aspects of the creatures appear to be based on hoaxes and paleontological forgeries such as Charles Dawson's Piltdown Man.

The various Fossils appear to be based on different types of dinosaurs, such as the stegosaurus, paravians, and dunkleosteus.
