Biology

Registeel is one of the five inorganic Regis that Regigigas created; like all Regis, it is sealed away. Its seemingly hollow body is composed of an unknown metal, noted to be harder than any known mineral, and stretchy enough to allow for fluid movement.

Design & origin

During development of Ruby and Sapphire, designer Ken Sugimori and his team decided to create more complex humanoid designs, in contrast with the more "babyish" designs of the prior games.
