Biology

Remoraid evolves into Octillery, which resembles an octopus.

Design & origin

While Remoraid resembles a gun, Octillery resembles a tank. During the development of Gold and Silver, Octillery originally had a more aggressive design, brandishing an army helmet atop its head. Octillery's English name comes from the words "octopus" and "artillery".
