Biology

Manaphy is the other member of the Sea Guardian Duo along with Phione. This Mythical Pokémon lives on the cold sea floor. It always returns to where it was born, no matter how far it has drifted.

Water makes up 80% of its small body, so it is easily affected by its environment. It is born with a wondrous power to let it befriend any creature. It greatly resembles Phione, though the relation is unclear.

Design & origin

Manaphy is based on Clione limacina.
