How to use it

Any Ground-type attack becomes Tectonic Rage when its user holds Groundium Z, once per battle. It’s physical or special, as that move is, and its power comes from that move’s, from 100 up to 200:

  • Under 60100
  • 60–65120
  • 70–75140
  • 80–85160
  • 90–95175
  • 100180
  • 110185
  • 120–125190
  • 130195
  • 140 and up200

A few moves have a Z-power of their own: a move that hits several times counts all its hits (Bullet Seed: 140), and moves whose power changes have a set one (Low Kick, Gyro Ball: 160).

How it works in Gen VII

“The user burrows deep into the ground and slams into the target with the full force of its Z-Power. The power varies, depending on the original move.”
