How it works in Gen IX
the user's Special Attack by 2 .
“This move can't be used. It's recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can't be remembered.”
In-game text, Scarlet & Violet
“The user attacks the target with all its might. The recoil from this move harshly lowers the user's Sp. Atk stat.”
In-game text, The Indigo Disk
Good to know
- Doesn't make contact: Rough Skin, Rocky Helmet and similar don't trigger.
- Lowers the user's own stats after use; White Herb restores them and Contrary turns the drops into boosts.
